Too much salt in diet….gained 2lbs

Soooo close but yet soooo far from completing my challenge.  To gain 2lb by having too much salt in my diet is frustrating but I am glad I am able look back and figure out what has happened, correct it and start again.

All is not lost as my body is still changing and my goal of getting into a size 12 dress is still on the horizon…yippee.

Meal plans for next week is eating more green leafy vegetables!  Eating green leafy vegetables is low in calories, low in fat and high in fiber, iron, calcium, protein and vitamins. So, as we are in salad season, it will be a bowls of spinach, watercress and rocket salads with my meals next week.

I am determined that next week will be a good week. Onwards and upwards!

The countdown has begun……lost 3lbs

I am delighted to kick start my challenge by losing 3lbs in two weeks.  Setting myself this challenge has hard but it has definitely helped me stay focused as I am doing something that I love and enjoy which is dancing to good music.

So, what did I do differently?  I made meals that I’ve never made before such as Risotto and Asparagus.  Tonight I made a lovely Asparagus stir fry which was lovely and the good thing, they are now in season.  So why not try making something different? What have you got to lose except the old you.
